August 30, 2011

Dear Sponsors,

On behalf of the USMarblesChampionship (USMC) Committee, the volunteers and all the participants, I would like to express my sincere appreciation for your donation to the 2011 tournament. Your very generous contribution was very appreciated and was a major factor in the financial success of a fantastic weekend of marbles in Middletown. Since the inception of the tournament 17 years ago,the USMC has been a great way to let all of the “older boys and girls” continue playing marbles and, more importantly, to provide a means for all of them to get together each year to renew and continue some great friendships.

In addition, we would like to think that by maintaining the interest with the adults, that the USMC tournament is promoting marble shooting with the youth of our communities.

Sincerely,

Art Staus
USMC Vice President
